What is In-Home Care (non-medical)?
In-home care is supportive, non-medical assistance provided to an individual in their home, allowing them to maintain independence.
Often including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing and dressing, along with companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping and occasional transportation as discussed with your caregiver.
In-home care is generally non-medical - focused on safety and daily living tasks provided by caregivers and aides.
What is Home Health Care (medical care)?
Home health care is skilled care provided by nurses or therapists for injury/illness recovery, often prescribed by a doctor’s order.
